The Style Section is Dead
Back when the style section told us what to wear, where to wear it and who to take it off for, fashion had a set routine. Designer, to runway, to magazines and stores. Fashion influencers and creators have now taken charge of directing the masses. Glossy pages, out, Outfits-of-the-Day, in. Even Vogue has dropped their monthly subscription as of 2026 along with Vanity Fair. Print revenue has a forecasted decline of 5.7% per year with diminishing ad spend, and the shift to digital subscriptions. Why pay for what the influencers...
